Saying Goodbye to your Pet

It’s time to say goodbye
Many people have a hard time deciding what is best for their pet when their health is failing.  Some people will work with a Veterinarian or trusted advisor to determine when it is time to put their pet down, while others will help to ease the pain while their pet passes naturally.

This is a very difficult process and should involve the entire family.  While some children may be too young to understand, it is important that everyone in the family feels that their opinion is heard and that they have a hand in helping your pet to feel its best in its last few days.

This decision should not be made lightly and you should consult your Veterinarian for their opinion as well.  However, in the end, the decision is yours and you will need to do what is right for your family, your pet and your situation.
