Every other week, Pet Butler, a dog waste cleaning company comes to our house to clean the backyard. On these days we have to lock the dogs indoors so they don’t scare the nice people of Pet Butler away.

On one of these days, Sienna knew she heard someone outside so she jumped all over the curtains and shredded them.  Normally our dogs are amazingly well behaved because they can go in and out as they please.  However, if they are locked in and hear or see anything they go beserk.

My secret to keeping them calm has always been rawhide bones that take them a long time to chew. But now I’ve found some toys that they can play with that also keep them entertained and they don’t shred them.  The best toys so far are:

• Nobbly Wobbly II Rubber Ball
• Tough By Nature Giggle Ball
• Animal Sounds X Tire ball

These toys are great and keep them entertained and some even suprise them when they bump into them and they make noises. 

I still leave them rawhide treats everyonce in a while as well.

For about two years now our dogs have been eating beneful dog food.  I have debated about changing it because it is somewhat expensive and Sienna is getting slightly overweight.  I did some research and found the Purina makes beneful and that their other foods are fairly similar.  I think i have found a new food to move the dogs to and we will see how it goes. (P.S. Remember to gradually change your dogs’ food so they don’t get sick).

It isn’t even that warm yet and Max and Sienna are already getting into the pool. I don’t know what they are thinking. I put my foot into the pool and it was freezing. I guess dogs just like water, regardless of the temperature.
