1. Am I Eligible To Participate?
Subject to the additional restrictions below, the Shopping with Fido Photo Gallery is open to anyone eighteen years of age or older at the time of submission.
2. How Do I Submit a Photo?
To submit a photo, send an email with your name, mailing address (including street address, city, state and zip code) and pet’s name to karla@shoppingwithfido.com and attach a digital photograph of your pet to the email message. Digital photographs must be in .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif format and no larger than 500 kilobytes (500 KB) in size. The photograph you submit must be an original photograph for which you own the copyright or have secured the right to distribute without restriction. Photographs may only include pets and may not include images of identifiable people. Shopping with Fido does not guarantee that the owner of photos will be contacted in the event the photos are posted. Shopping with Fido will not consider photos that are alleged to infringe on any third party’s intellectual property rights, or that Shopping with Fido, in its sole discretion deems obscene, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate for viewing by a general audience. By submitting a photograph, you agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of these Photo Gallery Rules, including the grant of rights set forth in Section 4, below; if you do not agree with these terms and conditions, do not submit a photograph. By submitting a photo you further represent that you are the owner of the photo and that Shopping with Fido’s use of the photograph will not infringe on the rights of any other party.
3. How Will Posted Submissions Be Selected?
Posted submissions will be selected from any of the photos submitted at any time since the beginning of the Gallery, August 1, 2007. Submissions will be selected by Shopping with Fido based on the opinion of Shopping with Fido regarding use of creativity, composition, back story of subject and photo quality. No prizes will be awarded to owners unless specifically stated in the sign up to win category. Shopping with Fido reserves the right to post as many or as few photos as deemed necessary per given day. Each posted submission will have his or her photograph displayed online at http://shoppingwithfido.com/pages/PhotoGallery.php.
4. How Will Your Photograph be used?
If your pet photo is selected, Shopping with Fido will post your photograph to the http://shoppingwithfido.com/pages/PhotoGallery.php. Accordingly, by submitting a photograph, you acknowledge and agree that Shopping with Fido shall have the right (without limitation or compensation to you) to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, publish, promote, display and otherwise use your entry in any way it sees fit, including the right to publish your entry online and in print, as described herein.
