Shipping & Returns

The following information is designed to help you understand our Shipping and Return Policies. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, add or remove portions of this policy at any time by posting such changes to this page. Such changes will be effective upon posting.  Shopping with Fido requests that you read the Shipping and Return Policies carefully and consult them regularly. Delivery times and rates are subject to change, based on the holiday and peak periods as well as the prevailing rates of the carriers used. By purchasing items, you agree to be bound by these provisions, along with our Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy, Shipping and Return Policies which are hereby incorporated by reference. Your use of this Site after such changes are implemented constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of such changes. You affirm that if you make any purchase through our boutique, you have read these policies and understand, agree, and consent to its provisions.

Our website uses Paypal for purchase of our products. This means that your credit card number is not stored directly with Shopping with Fido, but with Paypal. This provides for a safer and quicker shopping experience.

SHIPPING POLICY

A. Carriers Used:   USPS and UPS. It is the sole discretion of Shopping with Fido or when an item is being shipped directly from the designer, to use the carrier of their choice. All items will be insured for your protection. We do not accept C.O.D.

B. Delivery Days/Times:

1. Most orders will be shipped within 1 business day.  If an item is not in stock at the time of your order, we will immediately order the item for you.  If there will be a delay in your order, we will notify you by email. If you place an order after 8:00am on Friday, your item will not ship until Monday.  We do not ship on most major holidays.

2. Most parcels reach their destination promptly and without incident. Please understand that Shopping with Fido has no control over delivery day or delivery time, once the parcel is turned over to the carrier. Therefore, we are not liable for any lost or delayed package.  If any incident does arise, please call our boutique and we will help you locate your package through the carrier.

4. The estimated delivery days indicated above are based on business days. A business day is Monday-Friday, excluding holidays, unless otherwise indicated.

5. Additionally, this site disclaims any and all liability for the carrier failing to adhere to delivery days and times.

D. Shipping Costs:
All parcels ordered and shipped through Shopping with Fido will incur a table rate shipping fee that will include shipping, handling, and an insurance fee that is calculated according to your total purchase price listed below. Also, please note that any item that is considered "over-sized" and being shipped anywhere in the USA will incur additional shipping fees, based on what the carrier quotes to us.  We will notify you via email or by phone of the additional charge before we process your order.

E. Sales Tax: If you are an Arizona resident or shipping to a residence in the State of Arizona, your order will incur a 7.9% sales tax.

F. Lost or Damaged Parcels:
1. Most parcels reach their destination promptly and without incident, however sometimes a parcel is lost or damaged in transit. Shopping with Fido is not responsible for parcels lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. However, Shopping with Fido insures all parcels for full merchandise value to ensure that you are protected to receive your money back on the item(s) purchased. 
2. If you shipment is lost or damaged, please call or email our boutique and we will file a claim with the carrier indicated.

G. Undeliverable Parcels:
Any parcel returned for the following reasons; Refused, Unclaimed, Invalid Address, Unknown Address, or Insufficient Address will be subject to a  duplicate shipping fee plus $5.00.  If you choose to cancel the order after the first shipment has been made and we are unsuccessful in reaching you for address verification, you will be surcharged a 25% cancellation fee of the entire purchase price. Shipping fees; shipping/Insurance, packaging, handling and postage fees will not be refunded.

RETURN POLICY
ALL RETURNS MUST BE SENT BACK IN THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION, INSTRUCTIONS, PACKING MATERIAL, ETC. ON OR BEFORE THE FIFTEENTH (15) DAY FROM THE ORIGINAL POSTMARK (Original Shipping Date).   HOWEVER, IF WE DETERMINE THAT YOUR RETURN HAS BEEN USED, YOUR ITEMS WILL BE SENT BACK TO YOU PROVIDED YOU PAY FOR ADDITIONAL SHIPPING!  PLEASE REFER TO OUR ENTIRE RETURN POLICY FOR FURTHER DETAILS!

Returns
IF YOUR ITEM IS DEFECTIVE, YOU MAY RETURN THE ITEM(s) FOR:

  • Store Credit
  • Exchange

Please note: Please measure your pet! Measuring your pet is the only way you will know if the item will fit properly. We do not accept exchanges of apparel that does not fit.

Items Excluded From The Return Policy:

  • Custom - Hand made orders - Custom or handmade orders cannot be exchanged or returned. Please note details within each item's description before making your final decision. This also includes personalization of any kind or anything not offered in our boutique by way of design, color, size, etc.
  • Carriers, beds, blankets and houses – Due to health regulations, we can not accept returns on these items. Therefore, please note details, sizes, weight restrictions, etc. before making your final decision.
  • Specials – Because these items have been marked "Specials", they are considered non-refundable and all sales of these items are final. As always, please make note of the product(s) description before making your final decision.  Also, any items that are marked as "Specials" are only exclusive to web purchases only and do not include in-store sales.
  • Treats, foods and other perishables - Due to health regulations, these items are final sale and non-returnable.
  • Plush Toys - Because the type of breed and age plays an important role in a dog's chewing and playing habits, we can not guarantee that any plush toy that we sell will withstand your dog's level of chewing aggression.  Therefore, no plush toys are returnable.

* IF YOU CANCEL ANY ORDER BEFORE IT HAS SHIPPED, A 10% SURCHARGE WILL BE APPLIED AS WE ARE CHARGED FROM THE CREDIT CARD PROCESSING COMPANY TO REVERSE THE CHARGE.  NO EXCEPTIONS! 

A. Return Authorization Number (RAN) Required:
A Return Authorization Number (RAN) is required for all product returns. Any parcel received without an authorized number will be refused and returned to the sender. All returns must include the original manufacturers packaging to qualify for an exchange, replacement, credit or refund. Please note that refunds do not include shipping, handing, postage fees, OR the surcharge fee - no exceptions. Please email info@ShoppingwithFido.com to obtain your Return Authorization Number.

B. Defective Product?
Exchanges are only accepted if the item is defective.  Please do not ship a return or exchange item to Shopping with Fido. Items returned to Shopping with Fido will be sent back "Return to Sender" if we have not been contacted first.  If you wish to return an item, you must contact us within 5 days of receiving shipment. Merchandise must be returned in its original, new and unused condition within 15 days of receipt. All products must be returned in original packaging and sent back to us using an insured method such as Fedex or UPS with a tracking number. The customer is responsible for original and return shipping charges on all returns and exchanges. We will determine whether or not an item returned is unused, and is in original condition. Credit or exchanges will be provided once original item has been received.

D. Returning the Product Back to us
For your protection, we suggest you insure and return your package with a shipper who utilizes tracking information, such as USPS, UPS or FedEx as we cannot be held liable for lost or stolen packages. Once you have obtained your RA#, please address all returns to:

Note:  All returns must accompany either the original or copy of your packing slip with the RA#.  Should you return any item without this packing slip nor put your return address on the package, we will not honor the return.

E. If You Choose To Obtain A Credit - Once you have returned an item and our policies have been obeyed by, a credit voucher will be emailed to you at the email address you have provided in your customer account. This credit voucher will be good for three (3) months from the date the credit is issued to you. Your credit voucher email will include a redemption code so your customer account is credited the amount you are owed. Please remember that original shipping/insurance and handling fees are not refundable and will not be included in your credit.  Should you not use your credit voucher within 3 months, it will be automatically voided.
